Why Jesus Didn't Fall (Very heavy....very heavy!)

Food For Thought!

Most of us, including me, struggle with our words and actions,  We fallWe fail.  But why?

Pride, a seemingly innocuous word, but is very deadly to your existence on earth!

(Diverging for a bit but with purpose.)

Pride is used by homosexuals to describe their parades and events. Pride.  But, how fitting! This was the lifestyle that was obliterated by the Lord when he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and he prophesied that it would flourish right before he obliterates it again when he returns to earth.

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.". (Proverbs 16:18)

Back on track...

Jesus never failed because..wait for it...he didn't have any pride.  Money was not his security.  His reputation wasn't his security.  He wasn't a handsome guy. He didn't even have his own home. He did have a most indispensable and invaluable spiritual asset of gold: humility.  He had what God refuses to deny.  Yea, the God that owns everything, and has all power, will never deny a humble heart.

God hates pride with a passion.  He abruptly kicked Satan out of heaven because of it.  And, if you love God, God uses every situation in your life to break or wash pride from your life.

He doesn't want you to fail.

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."  (Psalms 51:17).
"But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." (1 Peter 3:4)
