The Secret to Miraculous Provision

Thought of the day

I was young excited, fervent, and daily preaching and sharing my faith. Marriage was far from my mind.  My pastor, very impressed with my zeal, encouraged me to attend Bible school.  I did.  And, guess what, my wife to be, sat right behind me in Bible school.

True story!

When things are not going right for most people (especially Christians) sad to say, they.....

  • Complain.

  • They murmur.

  • They take matters into their own hands.

  • They borrow.

  • They overdraw their accounts. (Been there and done that)

  • They marry the wrong people.

  • They divorce.

  • They make poor choices.

  • They refuse to let God, who makes everything beautiful in his time, provide for them.

The secret to God's marvelous provision is joy, excitement, and worship, in the middle of our trial!

I am hurting but I loving you lord!  I'm hungry, but I'm loving you.  I don't know where the next dollar is coming from, but I'm loving you!!!  My wife just ran off with another man...but I'm worshipping you!

Like the desperate Syrophenician woman whose daughter was grievously vexed by a demon, she refused to back off her request even when the Lord seemed to dismiss, delay, and deny her request, she worshipped him!

She prostrated herself and unlocked heaven!  Wow!

Heaven opened and poured out a miracle!  You see,  our worship on earth replicates heaven and the incessant worship of God.

Heaven then reciprocates and gives us a taste of his miraculous glory!!! Hallelujah!!!!

"But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour."  (Matthew 15:24-28)
