My mother was a school teacher. She reared four boys alone. She had strong character, but, she was equally feminine. She didn't need to go to a gym and build muscle to be strong. She didn't need to cuss like a drunken sailor to be strong and she certainly didn't need to sleep with numerous men to be strong. That is now the very sick demonic narrative heralded by today's media and most women have bought into it.
Really sad! Now, most western women, can't have a sensible relationship with men. They now compete rather than complete. However, competitiveness is a sure sign of a very insecure person who can only feel good about themselves if...if they are in control.
That's a, weak woman.
A man needs a strong woman who balances him. She is strong where he is weak. He is masculine naturally strong and reasons. She is feminine and tender, providing spontaneity and creativity. He decides. She prays. True strength is not measured by the externals, it's measured by the internals of a gracious humble character and an abiding faith in God. As the scripture says in the book of Proverbs, "strength and honor are her clothing."
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil." (Proverbs 31:10-11)
