It appears to be very very strange that people would buy toilet tissue rather than food or other important items during this Covid-19 crisis. Yet, it's the perfect item to illustrate the truth of our spiritual condition.
Mankind is full of poop.
No, God doesn't have a sense of humor. He is showing us the truth. Before he destroyed the homosexuals in Sodom and Gommorra, they had one last chance to acknowledge their true condition and repent. He struck them with blindness. (I mean you really have to be blind to not understand that a woman is made for a man...right?) Alas! Disturbing! Instead of repenting, they still tried to rape angels.
The same thing is happening right before our eyes! No joke! Mankind true condition is: self-worship or spiritual stool.
God is love.
His love motivates us to love and care about others. It moves us to repentance and love him. Satan's pride and arrogance (spiritual stool) makes us very asinine where we think we are so intelligent that the Bible, and love for others is irrelevant. We are our own God. And, like the Sodomites, we laugh truth to scorn.
Yea, mankind is now full of poop and all the toilet tissue in the world can't clean it off or out.
"And Lot went out, and spoke unto his sons-in-law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons-in-law." (Genesis 19:14)
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools," (Romans 18-22)
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." (Matthew 24:7)
